Brian Guay

Brian Guay was a student affiliate at the Duke Initiative on Survey Methodology while he completed a PhD in Political Science at Duke University. His research is at the intersection of political behavior and methodology, with a specific focus on misinformation and polarization. Brian is currently a postdoctoral research associate at Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the Department of Political Science and Sloan School of Management. Brian’s work draws on theories from cognitive and social psychology and uses a wide range of methods, including field experiments, surveys, and natural language processing with social media data.
